    Being 12th in line, he doesn't even know this guy.? No former relationship to anyone there for the reading.? Turned up for a weekend in the country and a bit of a laugh.?     Being 12th in line, he doesn’t even know this guy.? No former relationship to anyone there for the reading.? Turned up for a weekend in the country and a bit of a laugh.? But when the first person dies, it is mentioned that he as moved up the rankings.? As more people die he begins to get accused. He looks for ways of getting help.? But his girlfriend is “let see what happens”.

    We have no idea what the Earl was like, eccentric or otherwise as he is in the ground by now.? I was thinking something like “Death at a funeral” (UK original), but with murders involved.

    Thanks for the suggestions so far.? It is a challenge to a logline where it is a setting for a number of what are basically sketches.

    Get up to the story and stop. I don?t know the story but this may be a style. investigating a high school drug overdose a detective learns that his son is the dealer and sets about to cover it up, but his partner is unwittingly brings everything undone for dad and son.
