After undergoing an experiment for which a victim?s memory is implanted to him, a serial killer sentenced to death has 24 hours before he suffers irreversible brain damage to find another serial killer and obtain his pardon.
I'm intrigued. I thought of Escape from New York. :) I wondered why you needed a serial killer to do this job? He has the victim's memories, but his other skills seem to be: killing. Wouldn't you be better off using an FBI profiler or an ex-cop or a private eye? Someone skilled in tracking killers.Read more

That might also address the first comment, above, about deserving what’s coming to him.
I know Escape from New York used the idea of ‘you get a pardon’ AND ‘you get to live once we neutralise this deadly thing we’ve implanted in your neck’ — and it worked. I like it. I immediately wondered if there's a danger to the colour. Have you seen the video of Aunty Jack introducing colour TV to Australia? S/he is terrified that colour will change everything. When it finally seeps in the window, it does indeed change everything -- except Aunty Jack her/himself,Read more

When it finally seeps in the window, it does indeed change everything — except Aunty Jack her/himself, who remains greyscale. Hilariously done! 🙂
So: will the colour get in, will the man get out, will the colour and the man get along? I am intrigued.
See lessFollowing the suicide of a young female veteran, a battle hardened Special Operations soldier must fight to survive his own “silent war” on the homefront.
Reiterating Trix's point above: I wasn't sure what the silent war would be. A psychological/emotional one? Or is he fighting for some kind of recognition from the force? Both would be interesting. I also wondered (like dpg) about his relationship to the young veteran. Was he her CO? Or perhaps he meRead more

I also wondered (like dpg) about his relationship to the young veteran. Was he her CO? Or perhaps he met her in a support group or physical therapy group for injured vets?
