I think by "to end them all" he means "the heists to end all heists"-- the biggest one of all.? I note you’ve struggled through several iterations of?your story.? The common denominators seems to be a son who doesn’t want to farm pitted against a?grandfather damn well intent on keep?his male?offspring on the farm.

That?chain?of causal connectivity seems to be?broken in this version.? Now there seems to be 2 distinct?stories with two?non-converging objective goals: ?1] a son who wants to fly the coop, pursue a career in photography.; 2] A father who needs his father’s inheritance to? pay for his wife’s cancer treatment.

What is the unifying factor that ties these two stories into one?

I don’t what to say.?? Other than to ask: what exactly, stripped down to the core, is the ONE story you really, really, really?want to tell.? What is the dramatic itch you are trying to scratch?
