When a brain implant in his wife goes bad, a guru neurosurgeon must find a way to neutralise the implant; but when he discovers the problem is deliberate, not a glitch, he must find and destory the person tampering his wife’s mind before his wife kills herself, his daughter and others.

What is a brain implant?? A kidney implant is swapping out a failing kidney for another.? A heart implant is swapping out a failing heart for another?? Was her old brain swapped out for a new one?? If so,? it seems to me that the story resides in the realm of the SciFi genre more than Thriller.

So how can he be a vigilante if the circumstances are mysterious, if he doesn’t even know his friend’s final fate or who is responsible?? Wouldn’t it be more accurate to say the teen becomes his own private investigator?? In which case, why does he need to wear a mask?

I can understand why she would grieve the death of her father, but why is she feeling guilty?? ?And what's prevents her from calling off her executioner?? ?And she if she couldn't pay off the debt, where did she get the money to hire the hit man?
