    What’s at stake is not self-improvement but something infinitely more important, ?the survival of the human race. ? He’s escorting to safety the 1st woman ?to give birth 18 years. ?He’s willing to sacrifice his own?welfare, his own life, if necessary, for the sake of the future of the humanity.

    What greater and more noble cause can there be?

    Or is it to defend the town from the next attack? ?The logline needs to indicate the threat of another attack. ?Otherwise, what’s the suspense, what’s the source of dramatic tension if the attack is just history? ?It seems to me there needs to be an antagonist not just in terms of what happened but also what is going to happen again.
