    I find that too many adjectives work against a logline - the specifics of each character should ideally be clear from the premise. So as you suggested the fact that they kidnapped the boy makes them evil and there is probably no need to add it into the description.

    Reverse the order of events to indicate the cause and effect: After his son is taken by an unlikely enemy, unicorns, hell bent on enslaving all of Scandinavia, a retired Viking warrior must pick up his sword to save his boy and his people.

    Agreed with Dkpough1 and DPG.I think a location would also help. Where are they? In New Mexico? And by cartel you mean a Mexican Cartel? If so mention Mexican Cartel - it will help clarify the dangers and the nature of the antagonists.I'll add that for some reason the fact that the MC is with his K9Read more

    I’ll add that for some reason the fact that the MC is with his K9 best friend made it seem like a comedy more than like an action flick, perhaps change it to action/comedy.
