    The actual beginning of the story is when the lead jumps back into the dating pool, The incident or cause, would be the unexpected break-up. You buried that way at the end of your logline.

    You might want to clarify a seeming contradiction:1: "A wandering biker," makes it seem like the lead is on the road roaming around2: "Clinging to his small hometown," make it seem like the lead has never left his hometown.And easy fix with a little clarification.

    (I put Transgender in parenthesis because I am thinking who would be the opposite of an uptight college student, but if you don’t like it leave it out.)
