    After an outsider college clique finds that a young magic poet can write love poems that make every woman fall in love with them, they kidnap the guy, only to find out that real love has to be mutual.

    You need a lead character, And the lead character needs to be in head over heels in love.     Then the audience will sort of understand why the lead character who is love-struck might kidnap the poet.

    Because there is a real-world consequence for kidnapping.? You have to make it believable that someone is so in love they risk years in prison just to win the love of their life.

    Also, don’t tell us the ending in the logline.

    Do people actually aspire to be slum lords? Seems like a weird goal. Not saying she can't, not even saying this won't be a fun story... just saying it seems weird. Possible title: Slum Lord Millionaire
