    To clear things up:

“When a young American executive finds out the British part of her family killed her American sister in the never ending ‘aftermath’ of the American Revolution, she seeks revenge.”

For me this is “A few centimeters below” meets “Sleepy Hollow”.

The alien is slowly taking more control. The clumsy neurosurgeon can now take a gamble and literally choose to operate his own brain to get rid of the symbian, 'killing' his chances of fame and/or himself but if the operation is successful - saving his soul. A minor. The logline doesn’t tell he escaped; the first thing I would ask myself is “how? can someone who is imprisoned ‘for live’ (in the old days) return back home.

And does the logline without any doubt tell us ‘where’ he returns without using the word “home”.

‘After being forced to watch his lover?s execution and( then) sentenced for life in prison for a crime he didn?t commit,, a farmer in 16th century Iceland escapes and returns home to avenge her death and exonerate his name.”

Maybe there is a shorter way to say “sentenced for life in prison”? Don’t know…
