it is a cool idea for romance genre,
however there must be something more impersonal than their respective careers because this conflict implies a binary solution ie., they either choose career, or love.

But that’s not the case. There are many super busy couples in healthy relationships.
And if that is the case, it needs to be spelled out – with that momentum – in the logline. Other than that it’s a super cool idea,
    good luck SSalvatore!!

but Nir’s version is closer to the conventional logline

Maybe it’s about being aware of both their versions, to be able to satisfy what comes at hand

So It depends on pitcher’s objective:
    1. If we need to hook someone who can help the sale – like audience or producers – I’d go with dpg
    2. But to work with it – to get clarity of the idea – Nir’s version works; the “event-protag-goal” dynamic is most helpful to work barehandedly with raw ideas..

(& maybe there’s a golden logline that works both ways ????)

?When an outspoken minister offends a pagan tribe, he and his missionaries are forced prove the power of their religion by spending twenty four hours deep within a cursed area of the tribe?s forest where no one has ever lasted past the night!?

Currently It reads: "After offending a pagan tribe, an outspoken minister is forced to spend the day in a cursed forest" his objective goal becomes "survival", is it proactive? What "must he do" as a result? what do you mean by "his missionaries"? are they promoting their religion in a foreign placeRead more

“After offending a pagan tribe, an outspoken minister is forced to spend the day in a cursed forest”

his objective goal becomes “survival”, is it proactive? What “must he do” as a result?

what do you mean by “his missionaries”? are they promoting their religion in a foreign place (the tribe)? Then maybe that needs to be cleared,
    or
drop it out of your logline

I didn’t get….”to prove the power of their religion”
    is that instead their goal?

    good luck dho1115
