Hi dpg, I made a mistake: I wanted to put this topic in Classics? with the ones of 2001 A SPACE ODISSEY? and INCEPTION? to work on non conventional movies in continuation of our thinking about THE BIRDS? and other particular movies wich breache our paradigms. Hi dpg,

    I made a mistake:
I wanted to put this topic in Classics? with the ones of 2001 A SPACE ODISSEY? and INCEPTION? to work on non conventional movies in continuation of our thinking about THE BIRDS? and other particular movies wich breache our paradigms. But I put the second in “Public”.

I think it would be interesting to analyse these three -great- movies in all the aspects according to which they violate the rules and try to make conventional or non-conventional appropriate loglines.

(I put Inception official? logline as it is a perfectly appropriate one).

    All the Best.

    Hi You two,

    You’re right.

    I made a mistake:
I wanted to put this topic in “Classics” with the ones of “AMARCORD” and “INCEPTION” to work on non conventional movies in continuation of our thinking about “THE BIRDS” (Classics section) and other particular movies wich breache our paradigms.

I just wrote this logline quickly in a non conventional way to initiate discussion.

IMDB’s logline is a good one of course, and “black monolith” is the common name for this objet.

Whoever, this movie is a four acts story as wanted by S. Kubrick and A.C. Clarke, and this conventional logline mentions only the second and the third.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001:_A_Space_Odyssey_(film)#Plot

I think it would be interesting to analyse this movie in all the aspects according to which it violates the rules and try to make a non conventional appropriate logline.

The goal is the same for Amarcord and Inception (I put Inception “official” logline as it is a perfectly appropriate one).
