    It reads like the punishment parents used to give their kids who tried smoking cigarettes – made them smoke a whole pack to disgust and deter them from doing it again.

    The only problem is, hunting people (gangsters or not) is not an innocuous activity. Being disgusted by cigarettes won’t make you a smoker but killing people will make you a killer – a life of crime or not he made his brother cross a line he can never uncross.

It was an unusual take on the crime drama genre at the time and I’m sure that as a result, the concept added a level of risk to its investment. It seems as though today most financing relies on statistical analysis of social media trends and result in a far less edgy or “risk” prone story selection. I kind of feel that we’ve lost something along the way…

    If this is a John Wick kind of character, describe him as such. Instead of just "...bartender..." write 'assassin gone bartender' or 'retired assassin gone bartender'.
