    I started it like this because the main conflict starts when he falls for the sister, Up until that point the ex-con probably has no qualms about killing the (Man who possibly molested him or someone he loves) Molester.

    But after falling for the sister, now if he kills the molester she might get angry and possibly leave him. Conflict.
