    However, a few questions:

    Is this simply a tale of a family that must survive until dawn or is there another goal, like stopping the cult?

    Also, the cult released evil spirits into the home but also wants to sacrifice the family. Is this the same thing only worded differently. Or is the release of the spirits one thing and the sacrifice a different event?

    What is the purpose of the sacrifice, it may not be needed in the logline but if it is really interesting it might even be the hook.

    Overall I think the logline works, but you might try to play around with it just to see if you can improve it.
