    There is definitely a story here. However there are a ton of elements that are thrown in and it is hard to tell from the logline which elements should be kept in because they are key to the story and which should be dropped for word count.     There is definitely a story here. However there are a ton of elements that are thrown in and it is hard to tell from the logline which elements should be kept in because they are key to the story and which should be dropped for word count.
    For instance I would drop the ‘Japanese tourist from the logline because it doesn’t seem to add anything to our understanding of the main plot, also I’m not sure what rap music has to do with a mountain fire so I would probably drop that as well.

    I am unclear as to what you mean by the "Suburban Mafia" is it the real mafia who happen to dwell in Suburbia? or is it like the 'gay mafia' a term you are using to describe overly zealous housewives?
