    Is 'self-absorbed' the best adjective to describe the protagonist? Even something generic like 'troubled' or 'brooding' might work better. Also, his path is described in a 'negative' way- what he must not do. So what DOES he do in this story? That needs to be in the logline.

    I forgot to add- the concept is interesting, but the logline as written is all setup. It describes the first 10-20 pages, but you need to give us a taste of the rest!
