    My only issue with this revised version is that it is somewhat unrealistic. Is it likely that the threat of global warming will destroy Tasmania in a life time? Probably not.     My only issue with this revised version is that it is somewhat unrealistic. Is it likely that the threat of global warming will destroy Tasmania in a life time? Probably not. It implies your hero is gullible or irrational. If on the other hand he had to get to Tasmania to bury his estranged mother, scatter her ashes or find his biological father before he dies – that’s more compelling. Or maybe he himself has cancer and he’s dying – it’s a dying wish.

    As your logline stands right now, the audience might not care.

    Hi - I assume this will be an Australian film. It'd be worth understanding the distance he's willing to go - e.g. QLD to Tasmania - epic. Melbourne to Tasmania - not so much.     Hi – I assume this will be an Australian film. It’d be worth understanding the distance he’s willing to go – e.g. QLD to Tasmania – epic. Melbourne to Tasmania – not so much. Even if you just said “A young boy thumbs it across Australia to the Island of Tasmania in order to…”…I go blank here – why would anyone want to go to Tasmania??? No but really, a young boy willing to cross Australia no matter what could make for a good film – especially if you consider how many people with dark pasts are hiding in the outback.
