Before adopting a baby, Madhav and Adira adopts an old man to test and train themselves for parenthood and this so-called calculated risk turns out be their biggest nightmare.

Madhav and Adira. A happy go lucky married couple live in the hustle bustle of Mumbai. While juggling their lives in between jobs, dreams, aspirations, friends, family, love, fights, make ups and make outs, They realise something is missing.  After trying for multiple attempts, they had failed to conceive a child.  What’s next then??? Adoption!!! Yes, they  want to go for plan B. During the adoption filing process, Adira starts to give it a second thought. She has withdrawal symptoms and is a bit sceptical about getting a child home. Adira thinks she isn’t ready or probably they both aren’t ready, as raising a child demands immense responsibilities & expectations, out of which just desire and emotions don’t only qualify solely.

Being bold and blunt, Adira confesses this to Madhav. With his logical mind & desperate heart, Madhav negotiates his feelings with Adira & they come up with an uncommon solution to a common problem.

It  is commonly known to us that old people are demanding, stubborn and require a lot of attention, just like how kids are! So, they decide to take up a test/training of their parenthood by adopting an old man for a couple of months from a facility. If this works, Bingo! If not, they will be happy with each other. Deal!. They get the most obedient and impassive guy home, who hardly speaks and only likes to watch TV. Their lives goes upside down when the it becomes Madhav, Adira & “+1” in the house. A lot of filters and prohibitions hamper their careless and carefree living, but training requires commitment and dedication. They can’t back out.  In this roller coaster ride of getting themselves prepared for parenthood, they encounter the most bizarre experiences. Soon this so-called calculated risk becomes their biggest nightmare when they get to know that the old man is being hunted by a mafia of Uttar Pradesh. What would any parent do when they know their child is in danger or, is a danger….to them!

      Fun! Leaning towards:
“A baby fevered Indian couple lives are turned topsy-turvy when adopting a senior citizen to test the waters”

I know “test the waters” is an American phrase, Google it – you’ll get the idea 😉.

      Make this yours, keep going!
