Below is information you should keep (not a logline suggestion) When a demonic tiger slays men in 19th century Nepal (inciting incident) a famed hunter (protagonist) is commissioned to catch it DOA (goal) Since it's a thriller instead of a fantasy, we take it's just a tiger, as opposed to a real demRead more

Since it’s a thriller instead of a fantasy, we take it’s just a tiger, as opposed to a real demon. A man eating tiger is still a formidable gamble which you entertain only when you must (however famed a hunter you are) Did the villagers make him an offer he can’t refuse? WHY MUST HE risk it? Make it a little personal for him, to engage with such a beast.

‘the perfect bait’ is vague, unless you have something essential to add. The premise is interesting, good luck with the writing.

The logline is written from her P.O.V. (which needs to change if she's not the protagonist) If her motive is money, that needs to be spelled out. If not, it's a strange line of action, to get married to someone before ruining his life..

Cedar Bay is an ideal place to live, work, and play, except for the occasional earthquake and threat of a tsunami. An addicted boat captain must overcome his demons and step up to save the townsfolk when a tsunami hits.

Why's he worried about the townsfolk, wouldn't saving himself be more believable? Since saving people is a better goal, to make it more personal, maybe the event jerks him out of his state as he's reminded of the family he failed to be with.
