(Historical biopic) about the true stories of Susan B. Anthony & Elizabeth Cady Stanton and how they personally and politically changed the world! However they both kept one secret hidden from each other and themselves which led to inner personal disaster.
Hi Helise, I'm afraid that a biopic about the two major leaders of Women's lib in the america of the XIXe Century is not a very popular topic around the corner (no blood, no murder, no postapocaliptic world, no aliens...). Hi Helise,
I’m afraid that a biopic about the two major leaders of Women’s lib in the america of the XIXe Century is not a very popular topic around the corner (no blood, no murder, no postapocaliptic world, no aliens…).
That being said, it is matter for a good and interesting story.
About the title : I don’t like it because it can give rise to confusion (they where not marxists).
Something better would be the title of Elisabeth Stanton’s book “The Women’s Bible”, or “Not for Ourselves Alone” wich is the main title of a documentary by Ken Burns (Not for Ourselves Alone: The Story of Elizabeth Cady Stanton & Susan B. Anthony, 1999)(*)
About the logline: it is still to be written
About the story and its target: I don’t know what you want to do. Here is my own opinion:
– Women’s rights battle is part of History and is eclipsed in the collective unconscious by the Black power and the Civil rights movement battle of the late 50′ and 60′.
So I think it would not be a big idea to deal with it in a militant way or as a docu-fiction.
A conventional three-acts-movie biography with deep shaped characters, with place for their relatives, their family lifes… would be a better way I think.
I hope this would be useful.
I’m waiting for your logline. 😉

Espionage is the weapon of choice for husband-and-wife inventors of a new industrial process and a global corporation determined to bury technology that will save millions of lives.
I just read your precedent post and it is clearer in my mind. Your first logline didn't tell many things about your heroes but told more about your plot. Would you like this ? Warning! It becomes a quadrangular relationship Heroes-spy-spy-Antagonist… Matter for a great suspense thriller but very-very difficult to master.
The only example I know is rather messed up: DUPLICITY by Tony Gilroy (Julia Roberts & Clive Owen).

Hi Tigerlilysummers, Your plot smells as good as NORTH BY NORTH WEST "A woman mistaken with one unknown in a car crash discovers it was not an accident and must fight the latter's enemies to understand why they are wanted dead" If the reason "why they are wanted dead" is not that the agent was unmasRead more
Hi Tigerlilysummers,
Your plot smells as good as NORTH BY NORTH WEST
“A woman mistaken with one unknown in a car crash discovers it was not an accident and must fight the latter’s enemies to understand why they are wanted dead”
If the reason “why they are wanted dead” is not that the agent was unmasked, you can use:
“A woman mistaken with an undercover agent in a car crash discovers it was not an accident and must fight the latter’s enemies to understand why they are wanted dead”
