After a suicide attempt, a girl meets a man in the psych-ward, claiming to be a captured superhero; she becomes his only hope for survival.

Who is the main character the girl or the superhero?
Why must she save the super hero? What is at stake if she fails? Why can’t the super hero save him self if he is indeed a super hero? Or is he an inmate who believes he is a super hero and not a genuine one?
I think if she falls in love with him then she will be better motivated to help him and the stakes are higher. In order to be with him on the outside they both must get better and she makes it her mission to get him and herself better.
Hope this helps.

The zombie trope has been done so many times since Night of The Living Dead that you can rely on the pre existing knowledge of the genre.
Don’t be ashamed of the trope celebrate it for all it can be, by that I mean no need to waist time on describing the exact way in which people become zombies just jump to the point that they do.
The story here is about a special forces soldier saving his girl friend or boy friend not about people turning into zombies.
For example:
After a special forces soldier is sent in with his platoon to stop a zombie outbreak he must go AWOL to save his girl friend from the infestation.
Hope this helps.
See lessWhen a bullied kid finds a terrifying but badly wounded alien, he rallies his family and friends to help get it back to it's spaceship.
As mentioned above this story is the same as in E.T. Regarding the logline itself it is well structured with clear elements that have a cause and effect relationship and elude at a subplot friendship between the boy and the alien.
