When Jacob, a genteel theater actor, becomes a mob boss through mistaken identity. He is forced to work with Mia a police detective, in order to incarcerate the notorious Big Bamzy and save his own life. This is a logline for the narrative of a 10 episode TV comedy series.
Thanks for the reply guys. In your mind does this logline need a more specific description or mention of the antagonist? Nir.

The word noncompliant is a convoluted and confusing word for a logline unless critical to the plot. Does noncompliant mean he is noncompliant with the break out plan or in general with society at large?
Most criminals are noncompliant with the rest of society and if he is in jail then he is a criminal which means you don’t need “noncompliant criminal” in the logline.
If noncompliant refers to the brother not wanting to comply with the breakout plan this could be quite an interesting comedy. As there have been many “breakout of jail” suspense films but few where the actual criminal him self doesn’t want it.
Hope this helps.

Not sure of the significance of the mama's boy description, is there a reason for him to be a mama's boy in the logline? Also if she "discovers" the pregnancy she presumably is a month and a bit in to it, which means she has at least a month if not a little more before she starts showing. Would anotRead more
Not sure of the significance of the mama’s boy description, is there a reason for him to be a mama’s boy in the logline?
Also if she “discovers” the pregnancy she presumably is a month and a bit in to it, which means she has at least a month if not a little more before she starts showing. Would another month on holiday in Italy not be enough?
Regardless though even as a comedy this kind of feels lacking as a story worthy problem. Can the stakes be a little higher? What would happen that would be really bad if the husband’s family discovers she is pregnant?
