    I think the previous logline was a better attempt. A lead character needs a goal. In the previous logline attempt, the lead had the goal of saving his son.

    So the story sounds interesting. But the logline is confusing and probably doesn’t do your story justice.

    When and where does this story take place? Orphanages don't really exist in modern America.? We have a foster care system. However, if this story takes place in the 1800's or a third world country then it should probably be stated in the logline.
