      Short film perhaps.

Too wordy. Find a way of describing the guy under six words, chubby amateur,

The game would be the cherry on top. Describe the cake.

And why would Lebron James play a one-on-one with this loser — with anyone for that matter? ?What’s in it for him?

And is he attached to the project or will it require a faux-Lebron?

The problem with this logline is something you will see in real life

When a pro NBA player, plays with a non NBA player, they always take it easy. They go easy on them and let the non-pro look good.

I can’t see LeBron James going all out. For this logline to work you would have to add why Lebron would take the game seriously.

Mystery Alaska did it well. A no-name team from Alaska gets to play the New York Rangers for respect. So it can be done, but I would add some motivation for Lebron in the logline.

The logline is “Rocky” set on a basketball court.

But the champion in “Rocky” was a fictional character. And the story line for “Space Jam” makes Michael Jordan a hero; his dramatic goal is to come to the rescue of the Looney Tunes cartoon characters, help them win their freedom (stakes) .

Everyone loves a story about an underdog playing against 1,000,000 to 1 odds. ?But what are the odds that LeBron James would play in a movie where his role is nothing less than heroic?

If he doesn’t want to play the role assigned to him in this logline, then the movie project is DOA. ?Because he’s the hook of the logline.
The concept, as crafted, is entirely dependent on getting one person to participate.?

A logline should have a concept that can stand on its own, that is completely independent of a particular casting.
