Okay, there’s a lot of things all pulling in different directions at the moment. A few questions: why is the girl “devastated”? What happened to her? Is her brother actually psychotic? What has he done to deserve that diagnosis, especially as a teenager? Is he receiving psychiatric help?
What is a “prison of misfortunes”? Can you be more specific about the problems they’re facing? Is their father causing the problems? If so: deliberately, or accidentally? “Misfortunes” are technically things that happen by accident, no one’s fault, and I suspect that’s not actually what you mean here…
