An interesting take on the “Sold my soul for Rock N Roll” theme.

I am not sure I would use both young and unsuccessful.

“A down on her luck musician find magical guitar, but soon discovers there is a price- Paid in blood.”

(To be honest the original logline is pretty good)

I like the concept, it is something that I could see Eddie Murphy or Sinbad doing when they were younger. He believes a family heirloom is hidden somewhere in the mansion. Maybe the heirloom was supposed to go to his (now deceased) mother but the Grandma cheated her out of it. (or at least that is what he believes)

He is determined to find the heirloom but the over protective ghost keeps getting in his way. Plus the longer he’s in the mansion, the more his is frustration mounts at having to be nice to the Grandma.

    Anyway, just some ideas.

This logline is much clearer. Since the accusation (I assume) will be brought on early in the movie, would it give anything away to say something like: "An inexperienced lawyer becomes the center of a hate campaign when his client is accused of being the Devil" "An idealistic lawyer and his family aRead more

    This logline is much clearer.

Since the accusation (I assume) will be brought on early in the movie, would it give anything away to say something like:

“An inexperienced lawyer becomes the center of a hate campaign when his client is accused of being the Devil”

“An idealistic lawyer and his family are targeted by religious fanatics when his client is accused, by an over zealous reporter, of being the Devil.”

I know; both those are a still a bit clunky.
