A charming hired hand falls for the same idealistic young woman as his close friend, an emerging revolutionary after they are driven to the rural south by growing violence and corruption in the city. (Besides log line help, would like to know if you would watch this movie?)

Thank you, I am trying to adapt an old narrative poem and update it for modern day and it's proving difficult. The poem features the love story as the A story. I will post a reworked log line soon. Thanks for your input!

An oddball couple turns a simple break up conversation into a fatal encounter when ulterior motives for the split start surfacing.

I think it's too vague. I would be more interested if it were a little more specific. How does a break up ever become fatal? I agree that it hints at comedy and then hints toward horror / thriller.

This sounds like a short rather than a feature. The wording needs to be simplified. Tablet pc can be shortened to tablet. Revengeful needs to be vengeful. Also how does it plague them? Is the mother the hero of the story? I would feature her and not the ghost at the start of the log line.
