Sam Durelle and her younger sister are home alone when a knock at the door leads Sam down the road to terror. Abducted by a serial-killer couple, Sam manages toescape and find refuge in a desolate farmhouse, only to discover it is home to a malevolent spirit. Trapped in the house, Sam is propelled into a struggle for survival, one that will push her to the limits not only physically and emotionally, but spiritually.

I think the interesting idea here would be if the serial killers and the malevolent spirit were tricked into battling it out by Sam.

Courtroom thriller set in the 90's. A young lawyer's family is put at risk when a persistent journalist convinces the World that his client on a manslaughter charge may be hiding a horrific identity, an identity that strikes fear into everybody.

The way you wrote it can be confusing. It reads as if the Journalist has a client. I would use "The client" instead of "his client." I think this is a great idea, sort of like an updated "Servants of Twilight."

After he is taken to a frightening dystopian future resulting directly from his work, a disillusioned software developer returns to the present, intent on putting an end to his firm's nefarious plans.

How about this: "After getting a glimpse of a dark future, a software developer must destroy his own work or the future will become reality."
